A stingray is a flat fish that lives in the ocean. Stingrays have big fins. They have a long tail that can sting. Stingrays live in the shallow, warm parts of the ocean.
They eat crabs, shrimp, shellfish, clams and small fish. Stingrays cannot see. They use their sense of smell. They camouflage in the sand of the ocean.
They can weigh up to 790 pounds. A group of stingrays is called a school. It is fun to learn about stingrays.
